of course, he's busy with duties as the new fire lord, and there are so many things that she needs to be doing instead of hanging around the fire nation, waiting for something that might never happen. those places had both been such a huge part of her life; the drive for validation, for someone else to remember, too, was maybe influencing her decisions more than it should.
